I am a highly motivated, self-taught artist with 20+ years of game development experience. Beside Character art I do enjoy 3D environmental art and 2D concept art. I do have strong traditional art background. I was lucky to be part of several AAA (Console, Web and Mobile platforms) games. Prince of Persia-The shadow and the flame, Farcry1 HD, Assassin Creed Rearmed, The Crew, Prince of Persia Classic, School of Dragon are the major projects that I really enjoyed working on. I am looking for a studio where my expertise fit in and where I can learn, contribute and share knowledge among the team. I have an immense passion for Character design & development.
My core skills: Character modeling (highpoly and lowpoly), concept art, Texturing, Zbrush sculpting.
My core responsibilities are :
- Plan, organize, mentor, follow-up and evaluate the 3D Character Team.
- Taking care as main person in charge of the quality assets provided by the outsourcing
companies and ensure all of them are correctly implemented in the game.
- Working closely with the other departments to define the needs for the project and setup the development pipelines and processes for the team.
- Setup the 3D development pipelines and processes of the projects.
- Mentor 3D Character Artists by providing artistic and technical training, guidance and feedback.
- Ensure your team respects the art direction, technical constraints & production deadlines.
- Ensure the 3D assets are correctly implemented in game and meet the quality standards.
- Manage the deadlines and quality assets delivered by the outsourcers.
- Actively join the project meetings and participate to the constant improvement of the game.
- Maintain an efficient collaboration between my team and other departments.
Responsibilities:
- Leadimg a team of internal and external 3D artists.
- Collaborating with Art Director, designers, engineers and producers to balance creative vision with production realities.
- Working with PBR pipeline and advance game engines tools
- Create High quality 3D characters, 3D assets, UV maps, texture and other content considering Technical and Artistic requirement.
- Ensuring outsourced assets that they are game tech and design compliant.
- Building strong collaboration with outsourcing and other external studio.
- Verifying the quality of objects in the game, and make improvements where necessary to fit technical constraints and artistic direction.
- Mentoring junior artists.
